Willing to contribute to the establishment of a unified Maghreb, prosperous and promising for the future generations, who are confident in the sincere and volunteering role that civil society initiatives play in our country for a fruitful ambitious rapprochement for the populations of our region, this prelude is also meant indispensable for the creation of the Union for the Mediterranean, we are honoured and privileged, as the committee behind this citizen initiative, to keep you informed about the new and federative project which is important to us and which we decline as follows:

- The forthcoming holding in Rabat of an international conference in this same perspective having for a theme: Morocco-Algeria: the pressing opening of the borders, a token of a promising future for Maghreban peoples.

- The organisation of a march of a sit-in for the re-opening of the borders between Morocco and Algeria.

In order to guarantee to these two complementary events all their chances of success and an impact on the international scale, we seek everybody’s support and the mobilisation of the national and international public opinion to concretise these initiatives in the near future, in view of the present that we believe is always favourable.
